Elyla (Fredman Barahona) is a trans-disciplinary artist and uses performance as a fundamental resource of their artistic practice, constantly moving between photography, video performance, installations, and radical activism. They are a member of Operación Queer (2013) collective, founded by Nicaraguan academics, artists and activists in order to create transfeminist and intersectional reflections in the Central America region.
